Bandit features both John Wayne of Stone Brew and Austin Pullman of Electric Mantis. While the skit is really just a goofy joke, lyrically Bandit is pretty cut and dry about the lead character's quarrel and dilemma with big brother. The song in part is inspired by singer Howard Davis Kidd's own struggle with the local government of Calvert County. In the end the lead character has resigned himself to continue fighting the good fight against big brother, the law, and any other entity that will stand in the way of his freedom - and he will fight them to the death!
lyrics
Damn man we drank way too much last night!
Ahhhhh! Man, I know man, that braud got all my money too!
O well, you ready to hit this bank?
Yea man let’s saddle up.
Every day I’m fighting, tryin to break these chains,
Uncle Sam keeps chasin, tryin to take me in,
All I want is freedom, all I want is peace,
Y’all stick to the herd, and just leave me be.
Hey man, you locked and loaded?
Hell yea man! I got three sticks of dynamite man!
Dude I was talkin’ about your gun you dumbass!
Ah shit! Well yea I got that too man! Hahahaha!
I just need this last score, then I’ll change my ways,
Been a good time dyin, goin gainst the grain,
Ain’t no use in lyin, I’s bad along the way,
But the world needs bad men, we keep evil away!
Alright man, don’t be staring at the girl at the desk all day like last time man,
Man shut up, I know what I’m doin!
Man, I love doing this shit!
Ah shit! Here we go again!
Yeeeeee Hoooooo!
Let’s go, fill the fuckin bags, we got ten seconds!
Oh damn, it’s the law man, they caught us red-handed!
Fuck! How the fuck did they know! Let’s roll!
Get on your horse! C’mon man!
Still on the run, it’ll never end,
Peace is a dream for weak minded men,
Life is a struggle, so get ahead,
The only peace we have, is when we’re lyin’ dead!
God dammit boys, I told ya!
You were comin’ in one way or the other!
Shot or killed!

Stoner Punk Southern Metal Riffage hailin' from the swamps of the Old Line State, Southern Maryland! Formed in rural Calvert
County, Maryland in 2016, Crow Hunter was formed out of a mutual love for all things rock and roll. Adding elements from stoner rock, southern rock, groove metal and punk rock the band does not fit into any one category....more
Restless Spirit have abandoned all N.Y. hardcore roots and replaced it with deep soulful tradional doom and nailed it.I didnt think I would like it so much but the album embodies the bands name and is truly restless with spirit🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘 doomcrew
Bandcamp recommendations are spot on this week!! I heard about their new one from an email, and decided to check this one out since it was already available. I was not disappointed by the power, the riffs, the excellent vocal work ... all of it was top tier underground music. Restless Spirit are a shining beacon in a genre that is oversaturated with stale music, and bands that copy their influences to directly. This is good music!! Tom's Reviews
The surprisingly comical new video from roaring metal group Red Fang is a tip of the hat to the original “Predator.” Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 12, 2016
A great live capture of a band that exemplifies the best of stoner, doom, and psychedelic rock in the current age: all in one package. Picking a favourite song is hard because each song succeeds in nominating itself. I lean toward Enter the Zigurat, though. The production and mix are studio quality. Very clear & balanced. The band sound great live, too. Long jams to get lost in; great guitar, great vocals. Each instrument complements the others. No overshadowing. Thanks, ST! 8.5+/10. Alrihkh
